CIEVA focuses on serving adult individuals with intellectual disabilities in employment situations, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
Role Description
This is a temporary on-site Summer Student role located in Woodstock, NB at CIEVA. The Summer Student will be involved in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in our woodshop or recycling department, providing encouragement and guidance, and helping to foster an inclusive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications
Must be 19 or older
Returning to education in the fall
Empathy, patience, and understanding
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Interest in working with individuals with disabilities
Experience in a similar role is a plus
Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
